Yes, it is early days, but since the beta has been out for a while now, we thought that we could make a series where we speak about the lore of Warcraft Arclight Rumble Leaders. Additionally, we consulted some players with beta access in the Prisoners of WAR guild and we have arrived at a current closed beta ranking for the Leaders, both in PvE and PvP. We also offer some basic information about the Leaders' playstyle, ability, and traits.

Charlga Razorflank, Geomancer of Razorfen Kraul

Charlga Razorflank and her people, the quilboar, have been a thorn in the side of the Tauren for as long as they've been in the Barrens! She can be found in the Razorfen Kraul, the ancestral home of the quilboar. This massive thorn covered fortress is also the resting place of their god Agamaggan - a massive boar and one of the most powerful beings to exist. A powerful geomancer, known to fight with underhanded tactics, Charlga is ready to ruin everyone's day, as she commands the ground on any battlefield and turns towers into useless objects. While her ancestors were more noble and protective of the land and others, she has taken the quilboar in a new direction in her mission to ressurect their fallen god.

Notes: Both Beast Leaders are vulnerable to air units and unbound units. They are decent at field control and both Charlga and Hogger can get out of control very quickly if not countered properly. Melee units aren't too much of a problem for them.

Hogger's basic Lore overview

In game, Hogger isthe terror of all new World of Warcraft players faced when picking the alliance. What was to be a simple low level quest, killed countless layers who foolishly attempted to defeat Hogger alone. With his pack of gnolls he easily defeated new players who eventually had to come back with greater numbers.. and even that was not successful.
As the leader of the Riverpaw gnolls and an agent of the Defias, Hogger is a natural leader for the Beast faction. Always ready to rush headfirst into a fight and coming back stronger after every defeat, Hogger is not to be underestimated! Even aftter his defeat in the Elwynn Forest, he is taken into the stormwind Stockade only to cause more trouble for the alliance.. and once again requires a group of heroes to bring him down for good!

Conclusion

It looks like Charlga currently has the upper hand compared to Hogger, at least in PvP. It is worth remembering that these scores are based on limited closed beta gameplay and that changes will still likely take place. These changes might include stats balancing, third talents, synergies with regular units, etc. Something else to keep in mind is that we will need to continue the series and rank all the other Leaders too, in order to access how strong the Beast Leaders' scores are within the game's big picture.
